Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect any ocular abnormalities or diseases. - Prescribe and fit corrective lenses or contact lenses based on patients' visual needs. - Diagnose and manage various eye conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. - Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. - Educate patients on proper eye care practices, including hygiene, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and opticians, to ensure coordinated patient care. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
